Automation of the technological process of nickel hydroxide extraction
A research has been carried out to create an automated system of nickel-cadmium extraction. Precise and unfailing work of the system is achieved through the double-contour feedback effected with the help of contact-free pressure sensors, computer processing of sensor signals, and algorithms of working out controlling methods. The realisation of the technological process is reflected on a computer display. Controlling does not require human involvement, but the tables and charts of parameters of the process are stored in computer's memory in report files about every precipitation. Thus it becomes possible to optimise reaction conditions, which later enables to monitor technological process. This system is currently under experimental production testing at the joint stock company "Autonomous Power Sources Plant", where it is planned to be later implemented in production.
