Nanostructure сatalysts, сomposed of сomposites of platinum, ruthenium, polyelectrolytes and nanotubes

Electrocatalysts for methanol oxidation was studied. They were prepared on the base of carbon nanotubes, covered by polyelectrolytes with differently charged functional groups, which was changed by platinum with subsequent reduction. Then ruthenium was spontaneous deposited on metal platinum. The prepared catalysts were more active compared to commertial ETEK Pt-Ru (50:50 at. %) catalysts.

Introduction effect of zirconium ions into the structure of a lithium germanate-vanadate solid electrolyte on its electrical properties

The influence of partial substitution of Zr4+ ions for Ge4+ ions at high conduction solid electrolyte Li3.75Ge0.75V0.25O4 was investigated. It was established that introduction of zirconium ions leads to noticable increasing of electrolyte conductivity and decreasing of activation energy.

Conversion of wastes into electrical energy troungh microbial electrochemical technologies

The wastewater is potential processing facilities, from which you can receive bioenergy and biochemicals. Recovery of energy and valuable products can partially compensate for the cost of wastewater treatment and reduce some of the dependence on fossil fuels

Solid oxide fuel cells with film electrolyte: problems and perspectives

This paper reviews the methods used nowadays for solid-oxide electrolyte film deposition. Problems and perspectives in the field of development of solid oxide fuel cells with film electrolyte are discussed.
